Since 2022, he has served as the chief technology officer at ARK Investment Management LLC in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this capacity, Mr. Keller is responsible for meeting to provide updates on market trends and company developments, planning meetings for ongoing projects, particularly those related to automation and artificial intelligence implementation tools, reviewing communications, managing information technology-related tasks and serving additionally as a chief information officer. Before joining ARK Investment Management LLC, Mr. Keller was the head of strategy and innovation at WPP in London, England, from 2020 to 2022. In this role, he focused on developing advertising technology and navigating the complexities of creating, distributing and managing media airtime and commercial messaging. Between 2018 and 2020, Mr. Keller served as the global chief information officer at Wunderman (now VML), then recognized as the world’s largest digital agency. His tenure included overseeing global technology strategy.
Between 2016 and 2018, Mr. Keller contributed as a principal solutions and enterprise architect at Coretech, a WPP company, in London. His expertise supported large-scale enterprise architecture initiatives that underpinned WPP’s global operations. Earlier, Mr. Keller co-founded and served as both a board member and chief technology officer of Hogarth at WPP in London from 2008 to 2016. Under his leadership, the company grew rapidly from four employees to several hundred within a few years before being acquired by WPP. The workforce expanded further to approximately 3,000 individuals following the acquisition.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Keller worked as a consultant for MTV Networks in London from 2007 to 2008. Before that, he held the position of head of post-production at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO (AMV BBDO) between 2004 and 2007. There, he played an instrumental role in developing some of the earliest all-digital television production systems for commercials. Mr. Keller’s efforts helped streamline the labor-intensive process of creating television advertisements by enabling many employees to collaborate simultaneously on complex projects, a milestone that remains one of his proudest achievements.
Mr. Keller’s career began as the director of moving image at Deepend in London in 2002. Throughout these roles, he has consistently demonstrated imagination and a willingness to try things differently and has been praised for achieving expert status in the implementation of advanced technologies.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Keller earned a Bachelor of Science in physics from King’s College London. His studies in theoretical physics and advanced computer programming fostered a fascination with three-dimensional modeling, animation and visualization through code. Mr. Keller holds several certifications that reinforce his commitment to professional growth, including the completion of the diversity, inclusion and belonging for all course through LinkedIn Corporation, TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group and TOGAF certified enterprise architect credentials.
In addition to his executive roles, Mr. Keller has become recognized as an accomplished keynote speaker who has delivered multiple presentations at major industry events, such as the National Association of Broadcasters, the International Broadcasting Convention and IBM Interconnect. These opportunities are a testament to his level of expertise and authority within the field.
Throughout his career, some of Mr. Keller’s most notable accomplishments included his work on the first iPhone advertisements with Apple under Steve Jobs’s direction. The challenge required producing hundreds of variations of content quickly and cost-effectively while maintaining pixel-perfect consistency across multiple languages and markets. During the COVID-19 pandemic while at WPP, Mr. Keller led efforts to establish a fully cloud-based global studio system that enabled remote work on personal laptops using cloud technology for processing and distribution, allowing teams worldwide to edit high-resolution video and create computer graphics with minimal latency.
Throughout his career journey, Mr. Keller has attributed his success to persistence. He credits his background in physics with enabling him to approach problems from unique perspectives rather than relying on conventional solutions. Looking ahead, Mr. Keller aims to enhance platforms that accurately reflect how businesses operate by creating unified workspaces that maximize productivity through artificial intelligence and automation, eliminating unnecessary busy work while tailoring environments to specific organizational needs.
