Right after graduation, Mr. Ellig was hired by Pfizer. He remained at the company throughout his career, retiring in 1996 after working in the post of Vice President of Employee Resources. Earlier in his career with the company, he served as a Vice President of Personnel, as a Vice President of Employee Relations, as a Vice President of Compensation and Benefits, as a Corporate Director of Compensation and Benefits and as a manager of Compensation and Personnel Research. In addition to these positions, Mr. Ellig has served on the advisory panel for Career Central, as a consultant for Organization Resources Counselors Inc., and on various councils and committees for Pfizer.
In addition to his work in business and human resources, Mr. Ellig has stretched his creative muscle as a published author.
