Kevin M. Larson, Senior Project Manager at Olympic Companies, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction.
Mr. Larson’s career has kept him busy in business and in the ministry. He graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota with an associate’s degree in 1983. He began his working career in 1981 as an estimator and project manager with Sander & Company Inc. He was subsequently hired as the vice president of Prestige Drywall Inc. in 1988 in Anoka, Minnesota. He continued working as a project manager for Minuti-Ogle Co. Inc. from 1992 to 1998 in Oakdale, Minnesota.
After becoming involved with the ministry, Mr. Larson served as a youth ministry director at Bridgewood Community Church in Blaine, Minnesota from 1998 to 2012. He was also a ministry director for Susie Larson Ministries in Minnesota from 1998 to 2015. He has been active as a senior project manager for Olympic Companies, Inc. since 1998. From 2007 to 2012, he was appointed as the co-chair for IJM Twin Cities Benefit, International Justice Mission.
Mr. Larson’s areas of expertise include framing, fireproofing, building enclosures and drywall installation. His skills were used to build the Minnesota Twins Baseball Stadium and Minnesota United Soccer Stadium, among many hospitals, healthcare institutions and sports venues. He has combined his skills in construction with his volunteer work by traveling around the country and the world to share his passions with others. In 2021, he traveled to the Republic of Rwanda, Africa with 100 students as a volunteer mentor to build a school. He considers the flood-damaged Paramount Theater in Cedar Rapids, a restoration project that won the National Project of the Year Award, to be his most notable career accomplishment. Already an ordained youth pastor, he is currently studying to become a chaplain.
