Since 1994, Dr. Simmons Jones has found success as the executive director and chief executive officer of Special Touch Learning Academy Educational Success. With expertise in preschool education, forming successful school environments, child management and entrepreneurship, attributes her success to her natural connection with children. In the future, she hopes to expand into two new locations so she can serve more communities and offer high-quality childcare in low-income communities.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Simmons Jones attended Solano Community College and earned an associate degree in criminal justice law and corrections. She continued her higher education with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and operations. In 2011, she graduated from American Intercontinental University with a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration. Dr. Simmons Jones also holds a Doctor of Philosophy in religious education and a certificate in early childhood development.
Alongside her accomplishments, Dr. Simmons Jones authored “The CLLAIMM© Model: Optimal Results Maximizing True Potential for Student Learning Preschool Through Pre-Adolescent” in 2022. In 2015, she published the predecessor volume “CLLAIMM: Optimal Results For Institutional Student Learning.” For her accomplishments, Dr. Simmons Jones earned an Award for Excellence from the mayor’s committee for the 2011 to 2012 year.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Simmons Jones participates in church activities. She is involved in a child care union and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. Dr. Simmons Jones became involved in her field because of her own experience with dyslexia. This contributed to her learning difficulties and led to her starting Special Touch Learning Academy Educational Success.
