Sasi Kanth Nagalla, deputy risk officer at CLST and product risk strategist at Stripe Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of business risk assessment.
Mr. Nagalla leverages more than a decade of capital market experience as a multi-faceted professional. Specializing in business risk management using data science and machine learning models, he has operated as a deputy risk officer for CLST and he joined Stripe Inc. as a product risk and strategy manager in 2021. Across his various professional endeavors, he primarily oversees tasks pertaining to credit, fraud and operations and payment risks, in addition to helping business leaders understand and manage their portfolios. Mr. Nagalla originally began his career in his native home of India, working at Aon plc. as a risk modeling analyst until 2013 and worked at a global reinsurer, Swiss Re, from 2013 to 2015 before moving to the U.S. to pursue a career in finance.
Outside of his primary duties, Mr. Nagalla remains committed to civic advocacy, regularly volunteering with Pacific Community Ventures as a pro bono advisor to help small business owners with financial planning and strategy etc., started the finance club for the IIT Bay Area Alumni in 2022 as moderator and served as a student mentor with the UCLA Alumni. As part of his vocational journey, he previously cultivated a formal education, originally earning a Master of Science in mathematics and statistics at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2011. In addition to furthering his professional endeavors after immigrating to the United States, he also achieved a master’s degree in financial engineering at the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2016. Accounting for his academic and professional accomplishments, Mr. Nagalla has largely attributed his success to his natural inclination for working with numbers and his ability to think outside of the box.
