She continued her studies at Marymount University and obtained a Master of Arts in community counseling. She holds certifications as a licensed professional counselor and as a clinical trauma professional.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Wise has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She was a board member of Love You More, Inc. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was featured in Tap-In Magazine and Voyage Baltimore.
Ms. Wise is proud to have started her career in the field of foster care and adoption, despite the compassion fatigue common to the sector. She was able to advance from case manager to therapist, witnessing rapid changes and improvements in many children’s lives. Another highlight was creating the trauma-informed care foundation in the Emotional Wellness at Community of Hope and innovating several changes that are still part of the organization.
Ms. Wise attributes her success to staying focused and being a methodical and strategic thinker with the intention of creating a meaningful career in mental health. Additionally, her husband and son contribute to her drive and ambition. In the immediate future, she envisions Wise Choice Counseling and Consulting Services becoming a household name and a leader both in the mental health industry as well as in the consulting industry. She seeks to amplify her speaking career in the United States and around the world and to success as a published writer.
