He currently serves as a broker associate with LAER Realty Partners, a position he has held since 2018, and KW Metropolitan since 2012. His experience includes working as a realtor and broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty from 2004 to 2012 and holding positions at Sycamore Networks, Aptis, Octacom Limited, and Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation. Over the past decade, he has consistently ranked in the top 2% for sales in New Hampshire. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was he was recognized as a top producer among 400 real estate agents at Keller Williams Realty and honored with the Heart of the Lion Award by LAER Realty Partners in 2018 for his exceptional determination and resilience. That same year, he achieved remarkable success, completing 61 sales totaling $15 million

Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Ford earned a Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering from Northeastern University in 1989. He is a licensed broker in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and a member of the National Association of Realtors and the New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors. Nearly a year ago, he signed up to help veterans find housing, becoming certified with Veterans United, and finds this work deeply meaningful and a form of community service. He was inspired to do this in honor of his late mother, known for her charitable spirit. She ran a food pantry, volunteered at three hospitals, and welcomed servicemen into their home during the holidays to ensure no one was left alone. This tradition, carried on by his family, stems from his grandfather, who worked at the Boston Navy Yard and brought servicemen home for the holidays.

Reflecting on his path, Mr. Ford’s journey into real estate began after being laid off from his hardware engineering job in 2001. Choosing not to return to the corporate world, he embraced a career in real estate despite having no sales or real estate experience, determined to find a career that would allow him to be close to home while maintaining his income. He conducts business with a traditional, personal approach, and relies on face-to-face interactions and word-of-mouth referrals rather than online marketing or social media. In 2018, his resilience was further exemplified when he returned to work just six days after major abdominal surgery and chemotherapy, which earned him the Heart of the Lion Award.

Mr. Ford attributes his success to his mother’s influence, which instilled in him a profound understanding of the importance of service to others. He also sees his real estate work as an opportunity to serve his community. Looking to the future, he intends to elevate his current endeavors and eventually pass his legacy on to a deserving individual. Personally, he also takes great pride in his children’s accomplishments, noting their integrity and success as well as their commitment to being good citizens.
