Dr. Richards, lauded for his expertise in engineering, has found success with ARMS Reliability, a consulting company in reliability engineering, since 2002. Hired as a senior engineer, he subsequently became a product execution engineer, responsible for enhancing reliability solutions while focusing on improving maintenance practices for clients. Leveraging over 15 years of proven success, Dr. Richards came from Raytheon Technologies, where he excelled as a FRACAS engineer from 2016 to 2018, RAM engineer between 2018 and 2022, and obsolescence manager in 2022. Earlier, he held various positions at International Paper and NextEra, dating back to 2008.
In addition to his contributions to his field, Dr. Richards has begun his latest venture as an independent insurance broker. He plans to initially concentrate on providing clients mortgage protection, whole life, and universal health policies. His goal is to gradually build on the business while remaining active at ARMS Reliability.
Highly educated, Dr. Richards holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Western New England University since 2008. He also garnered a Master of Science in systems engineering and a Doctor of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University in 2022 and 2024, respectively. He holds credentials as a certified reliability engineer through ASQ, which reflects his comprehensive understanding of reliability principles and practices, enhancing his credibility as a reliability engineer. Additionally, Dr. Richards is a licensed insurance broker in New Hampshire. In the coming years, he intends to continue growing in both fields, earning additional skills in the engineering sector while establishing himself in the insurance sector. Noting his wife’s encouragement throughout his career, Dr. Richards is confident in achieving future success.
