Active in the industry for over two decades, Mr. Hottel began his career as a broker at Next Level Realty in 2011 and remained there until 2017. He concurrently held the title of chief relationship manager at Community Assurance from 2014 to 2020. Mr. Hottel also found success with Better Real Estate as a real estate broker between 2020 and 2021 and then as a regional broker for the firm for Texas and the southwest region in 2021.
While employed by Better Real Estate, Mr. Hottel realized the potential of turning dreams and ideas into reality through dedication and hard work. Determined to explore alternative real estate options after working closely with the organization’s president and discovering many areas for improvement, he chose to pivot. After leaving Better Real Estate, Mr. Hottel briefly worked as an agent experience partner at Open Door in Dallas, where he developed numerous agent relationships and excelled in customer service throughout the buying and selling process from 2022 to 2023. During this time, he also noticed the industry’s many inadequacies, which solidified his determination to make a much-needed change.
Mr. Hottel completed coursework in aeronautics, aviation and aerospace at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also became a licensed real estate broker through the Texas Real Estate Commission. As part of his continued success in the real estate sector, Mr. Hottel has been a prominent member of the National Association of Realtors for nearly 20 years.
