Company: Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG)
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States
Nikki Nielsen, Director of Business Process Development at Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG), has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in athletics.
Ms. Nielsen has carved a distinguished career in the golf industry, currently serving as the director of business process development at Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG) since 2022. In this role, she oversees the implementation of a new e-commerce platform designed to enhance customer experience and streamline operations. Additionally, she is developing a loyalty program to increase customer retention and engagement within the golf sector. Ms. Nielsen’s expertise in the cleanup and redevelopment of problematic departments has been instrumental in her success, earning her recognition as a transformative leader.
Before her current position, Ms. Nielsen was the director of global supply chain at PXG from 2020 to 2022. During this time, she modernized the supply chain by revamping it and digitizing processes to ensure complete end-to-end visibility. This initiative included certifying secondary factories to manufacture products in case of disruptions, which prevents long recovery times. Given that the golf industry relies on a limited number of factories worldwide, this certification enabled competition for production space, marking one of Ms. Nielsen’s most notable achievements.
Between 2017 and 2020, Ms. Nielsen held the position of director of operations at PXG. Her leadership during this period was pivotal in optimizing operational efficiencies and enhancing overall productivity. Before ascending to this role, Ms. Nielsen served as customer service manager from 2015 to 2017, where she honed her skills in customer relations and service excellence.
Founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Bob Parsons, PXG now has over 200 locations for golf fittings nationwide. The company also sells clubs, balls, gear and apparel and has a dedicated website. Recognized as a unique equipment manufacturer, PXG has approximately 900 global patents for its complete lineup of golf clubs for the perfect custom fit.
Ms. Nielsen’s journey in the golf industry began as an assistant golf professional at Starfire Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, from 2012 to 2015, and then at Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale between 2014 and 2015. These early roles provided her with invaluable insights into the intricacies of the sport and laid the foundation for her subsequent achievements.
Academically, Ms. Nielsen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Her education has been instrumental in shaping her strategic thinking and business acumen, which have been critical to her professional accomplishments. Ms. Nielsen attributes much of her success to a strong work ethic and dedication instilled by her family from a young age.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Nielsen is actively involved with civic-minded organizations, such as PGA Hope and Folds of Honor, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community. She is also passionate about crocheting, often creating amigurumi crafts that she donates to Phoenix Children’s Hospital annually.
Ms. Nielsen is dedicated to promoting golf among children and women, recognizing the barriers posed by the sport’s expenses. Together with her husband, she is exploring ways to make golf more accessible to young people. Ms. Nielsen is also eager for continuous growth. She has completed several educational programs, including a chief operating officer program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is interested in Wartburg’s Women’s Executive Program. Ultimately, Ms. Nielsen aspires to become a chief operating officer while maintaining her reputation as a great leader who treats everyone with respect and leads by example.
