Prior to his current role, Dr. Kaleel worked as an accountant and paralegal at Betras Kopp Attorneys at Law from 2021 to 2024. His tenure at the aforementioned firm was preceded by his excellent work with the Mahoning County Board of Elections from 2015 to 2021, where he held positions as an election official and field representative. During this time, he also founded Tutoring History, serving as its chief executive officer until 2019. His earlier career included roles as a substitute teacher across several school districts in Ohio from 2015 to 2018, providing him with a diverse range of experiences in education.
Dr. Kaleel began his career as a salesman and consultant at Kaleel Brothers Inc., where he found muh success from 1998 to 2015. His early professional journey also included internships and volunteer roles that honed his skills in political campaigning and public service. Notably, he interned for City Councilman Bobby Dyer in Virginia Beach from 2011 to 2014 and participated in various political campaigns, including those for Randy Forbes and Scott Rigell for Congress in 2012.
In addition to his primary endeavors, Dr. Kaleel is actively involved in civic organizations. He has been appointed as a committee member for both the Rotary Club of Cape Henry and the Republican Party of Virginia Beach. His commitment to community service is further exemplified by his volunteer work with St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and Congressman Scott Rigell, respectively, in 2010.
To support his career ambitions, Dr. Kaleel pursued an education at Youngstown State University, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2008. He continued his studies with a master’s degree in law and a Master of Public Policy at Regent University in 2011. He subsequently obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from the School of Business and Leadership at Regent University in 2014. Dr. Kaleel ultimately concluded his academic efforts at Youngstown State University in 2017, graduating with a degree in economics. These academic accomplishments have provided him with a solid foundation for his career pursuits and played a significant role in his success.
Beyond his professional activities, Dr. Kaleel is deeply committed to preserving American history through the establishment of a museum in Youngstown, Ohio. This endeavor reflects his passion for historical preservation and his dedication to championing the republic’s legacy. His collection includes old books, congressional records, presidential documents, and political memorabilia, alongside an extensive archive on the Antiochian Orthodox Church.
In his personal life, Dr. Kaleel enjoys exercising, reading and collecting books, playing golf, biking, hiking, traveling, and creating museums. He has traveled to seventeen countries, gaining insights into diverse cultures and broadening his perspective on global issues. Looking toward the future, Dr. Kaleel aims to expand his client base further while inspiring others through motivation and encouragement. His philosophy centers on seizing opportunities whenever possible and ensuring that perseverance leads to growth—a testament to his optimistic outlook on both personal and professional fronts.
