Mr. Adeyemi’s career is marked by a series of significant roles and accomplishments that underscore his expertise in engineering, finance and business development. Currently, he serves as the head of engineering finance at AIBOT US Supply Inc., an aviation and aerospace company based in Long Beach, California, a position he has held since 2023. In this capacity, he is responsible for financial planning and analysis, managing finance and supply chain operations, and engaging in business development. Mr. Adeyemi’s role also involves identifying opportunities for product integration and ensuring efficient financial and operational strategies within the organization.
Before being acquired by AIBOT US Supply Inc., Mr. Adeyemi was a controller at Arrowhead Products in Los Angeles, California, from 2019 to 2022. During this time, he honed his skills in financial oversight and managing the cost accounting team. Before joining Arrowhead Products, Mr. Adeyemi spent nearly a decade at Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX), where he initially served as a manager of cost analysis and control, beginning in 2010, and was subsequently promoted to senior manager from 2017 to 2019. His tenure at SpaceX was marked by remarkable growth in inventory and production assets, with the company expanding its inventory from approximately $200 million to over $2 billion by 2019.
Mr. Adeyemi’s earlier career included a significant period at Ford Motor Company as a senior cost analyst from 2002 to 2010. Here, he played a crucial role in the financial turnaround efforts, contributing to millions of dollars in cost savings. Mr. Adeyemi’s strategic decisions also played a vital role in helping the company recover from significant losses.
In the early stages of his career, Mr. Adeyemi served as the president of the Metro Detroit Soccer League between 2006 and 2010, demonstrating his leadership skills beyond the corporate world. He was also a partner at Core Technical Services in Nigeria from 2001 to 2006 and a senior management consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young between 2001 and 2002. Mr. Adeyemi began his professional journey as a product design engineer and project manager at DaimlerChrysler Corporation in 1997.
Mr. Adeyemi’s academic journey began in his native country at the Nigerian Defense Academy in Kaduna, where he graduated in 1994. He then studied at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he became the first Nigerian graduate from the academy. He received a Bachelor of Science in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering on campus in 1995. Continuing his studies, Mr. Adeyemi earned a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 1997, where he also excelled as a teaching and research assistant on campus from 1995 to 1997. Shortly thereafter, he obtained a Master of Business Administration from Oakland University in 2000, further enhancing his skills and expertise.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Adeyemi is deeply committed to community service and civic engagement. He is also recognized as a past president of the Detroit Metro Soccer League and the International Student Association in North Carolina.
Mr. Adeyemi’s dedication to community service was exemplified by his receipt of the Outstanding Service Award from Kwara State, Nigeria, and the Service Award from the Igbomina Community in North America.
