Since the launch of MGL, Mr. Hussaini’s innovative approach has led to the development of a groundbreaking digital platform that allows service providers and franchisees to collaborate globally. This unique model positions his organization as the only one offering such services, enabling them to operate both as franchisers and franchisees.
Before founding his current organization, Mr. Hussaini excelled as the chief executive officer of New York Logistics Services Inc., doing business as Global American Lines, from 2001 to 2013. During this period, he honed his expertise in the industry, which has been instrumental in his success.
Mr. Hussaini’s career began in Mumbai, India, where he served as a junior officer at a shipping agency from 1981 to 1983. As a public speaker from 1983 to 1985, he shared insights on industry trends and innovations, contributing to his reputation as an expert in logistics services. Mr. Hussaini then moved to Saudi Arabia, working with various shipping companies between 1985 and 1999. His role as a shipping manager at Gulf Shipping Company, a role he held simultaneously from 1994 to 1999, further solidified his foundation in the industry. Throughout these experiences, Mr. Hussaini developed a deep understanding of international logistics and freight forwarding.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Hussaini earned a Bachelor of Science in shipping management from Osmania University in 1980 and a Master of Science in transportation management from the State University of New York in 1983. These educational achievements have provided him with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of global logistics successfully. Mr. Hussaini is also certified as a qualified individual by the Federal Maritime Commission and holds credentials in shipping management, travel and tourism, and public speaking.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hussaini is actively involved in civic organizations. He has been a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce since 2023 and volunteers for charity work through the Care & Share Program at MGL. Additionally, Mr. Hussaini serves on the Middlesex County, New Jersey, county committee.
Mr. Hussaini’s dedication to innovation and excellence at New York Logistics Services Inc. (DBA Global American Lines) earned the company recognition from the Department of Commerce for completing rigorous training programs. The company was also invited to participate in the Gold Key Service program, securing valuable overseas customers. Since the launch of MGL, Mr. Hussaini was instrumental in its receipt of a Small Business Success Award from the Small Business Administration. His commitment to community service was further exemplified when he received a Recognition of Service Award from the Woodbridge Muslim Association in 2005.
