Across nearly 25 years, Mr. Briggs has crafted an esteemed reputation in sales and real estate. Almost 20 years of that career was dedicated to Enterprise Holdings, one of the world’s largest automotive companies, which he joined in 2002 as a management trainee. Introducing improvements that resulted in over $51 million in sales revenue, Mr. Briggs was soon promoted to management assistant, assistant operations manager, branch rental manager, revenue manager and senior area rental manager. During this time, he supervised more than 150 employees, including eight sales leaders, and collaborated with the leadership team to implement changes that improved Enterprise’s annual profitability from $2 million to over $15 million.
In 2021, Mr. Briggs shifted to ADP Inc., joining the company as a regional sales executive for major accounts. Among his many accomplishments there, he emphasized new performance methodologies and benchmark strategies aimed at boosting team culture and driving revenue gains. Under Mr. Briggs’ leadership, ADP Inc., achieved over 300% year-over-year improvements in net revenue. He also helped increase net sales by almost 75% year over year, alongside annual growth of more than 100%.
In his most recent career move, Mr. Briggs has served as regional director for Homes.com since 2024. A part of the CoStar Group, Homes.com is a premier real estate website in the United States, offering millions of listings for houses and apartments for rent and sale. Mr. Briggs oversees a team of nine sales associates covering the Midwest U.S. territories, including St. Louis, Kentucky and Illinois. He also collaborates with his team members and other sales representatives at Homes.com to optimize the organization’s sales processes and ensure they can achieve aggressive growth targets.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Briggs set a foundation for himself in the academic world. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business and psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2002. Mr. Briggs subsequently obtained an honorary doctorate of humanities in growth development from the United Graduate College and Seminary International. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., which was the first fraternity created on the campus of a historically black college.
Well-regarded for his contributions in his various professional capacities, Mr. Briggs has received numerous noteworthy accolades. He was given the Chairman’s Award and the Exceptional Achievement Award five times each during his tenure with Enterprise Holdings. Additionally, Mr. Briggs has taken on the responsibilities of heading the Minority Leadership Associate Resource Group and serving on the executive committee of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. He held the number two rating in sales for his division for five consecutive years.
When Mr. Briggs is not working, he finds joy in bowling, listening to music and hosting family gatherings around the grill. In his near future, he envisions assuming a vice president role and eventually a C-level position. Mr. Briggs has also considered starting his own business, but he is primarily focused on his continued success with Homes.com and the broader CoStar Group. He remains eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities in whatever form they take.
