Robert “Bo” Bolliger, superintendent at LMC Construction, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction.
Though his professional life started in 2008, Mr. Bolliger’s 15 years in the construction field didn’t begin until a little later. His first role was in sales and marketing for Bolliger & Sons Inc., an insurance agency located in Portland, Oregon. Though Mr. Bolliger made the most of this opportunity, he quickly recognized that it wasn’t a field he felt passionate about. With that in mind, he shifted into construction in 2010.
Soon after that change, Mr. Bolliger was offered a role as a site coordinator at Holland Partner Group. For this time, he operated as an assistant to the company’s superintendents while familiarizing himself with the process of large-scale construction. In 2015, Mr. Bolliger joined John Residential Construction Group as a superintendent and was given the opportunity to lead his first projects. During his tenure with John Residential Construction Group, he oversaw what would become one of the most noteworthy projects of his career: the construction of the Burnham & Ash Apartments in Tigard, Oregon. Despite only being 32 years old at the time, Mr. Bolliger was trusted as the lead of this challenging project. He was able to prove himself by successfully overcoming multiple unexpected complications, including contaminated soil on the site and additional requirements due to the building’s proximity to a water treatment facility.
Following his time with John Residential Construction, Mr. Bolliger contributed for several years as a superintendent with JBA LLC and then rejoined Holland Partner Group as a project superintendent in 2018. He was later promoted to project superintendent II and lead project superintendent before leaving the company a second time in 2025. Since then, Mr. Bolliger has stepped into the position of superintendent at LMC Construction. Founded in 2004, LMC Construction prides itself on offering customer-centered service for construction projects throughout rural Oregon and Washington, with a particular emphasis on affordable housing construction and renovation.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. Bolliger set a solid foundation in his education. He first pursued coursework at the University of Oregon. Subsequently, Mr. Bolliger earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Portland State University. He credits his principles and ethics — many of which were lessons taught to him by his father — as a primary contributing factor to his success.
Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Bolliger embraces opportunities to give back to the community both within his professional and private life. LMC Construction prioritizes community engagement, including remodeling projects for people in need. Through the company, Mr. Bolliger has supported a back-to-school drive, collecting school supplies and clothing for local underprivileged children. A dedicated pet owner of two dogs, he also volunteers with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Outside of his accomplishments in the field of construction, Mr. Bolliger is also a devoted husband. He enjoys traveling regularly with his wife using their travel trailer, golfing, and fishing. In planning for the future, Mr. Bolliger looks forward to continuing to lead construction projects to successful outcomes. He hopes to eventually serve as the regional superintendent of a major construction company in Oregon as his career advances.
