Before his current role, Mr. Wilkins served as the founder and chief executive officer of Avalanche Consultants from 2016 to 2018. In this capacity, he guided small businesses and nonprofit organizations through complex challenges by leveraging his deep understanding of business operations and technology-driven growth strategies. Mr. Wilkins’s entrepreneurial spirit was also evident during his tenure as the business owner of Maid Right, a master franchise in the residential cleaning industry, between 2015 and 2016, where he marketed and sold unit franchises to residential cleaners interested in owning their own companies while implementing process improvements to enhance the franchise.
From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Wilkins contributed as a consultant and project manager at Whitridge Associates Inc., an established staffing and recruiting company. His earlier experience included a significant period at IBM between 2002 and 2011, where he held the positions of senior managing consultant and business area manager. During his time at IBM, Mr. Wilkins identified critical gaps in the company’s quality management and testing services. Collaborating with a colleague, he developed a comprehensive business plan that addressed these deficiencies, which was ultimately approved by IBM’s senior management team. Mr. Wilkins also held the role of principal and practice leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1997 to 2002 and consulting services manager at CPA Systems Inc. in 1997.
Mr. Wilkins’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration in information systems from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. His dedication to professional development is further demonstrated by several credentials, including certification in QuickBooks Online Advanced from Intuit Inc., a talent optimization certificate from The Predictive Index, and a certified value builder advisor designation from The Value Builder System.
