Trevor “Zelmae” McCullum, chief executive officer of Overall99 Media LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in digital marketing and media.

Professionally active for almost 15 years, Mr. McCullum has built his reputation by demonstrating resilience, positive energy, dedication to family and community, and a commitment to making others smile. His earliest jobs while attending college included being part of the store crew at Sullivan’s Grocery and a sales team member at Toys“R”Us. From 2011 to 2016, Mr. McCullum spent time as a contractor’s assistant for McCullum’s Construction, where he performed bookkeeping, plumbing, wiring, general construction and odd jobs. He later contributed as an assistant manager for Family Dollar.

2015 marked a major turning point for Mr. McCullum, as he became a published writer after years of working on his debut book of poetry, “How Long Will They Take From Us.” Concurrently with that, and alongside some of his other roles, he founded Overall99 Media LLC in 2014. Growing out of the connection between Mr. McCullum and his best friend, Overall99 Media started life with a focus on music marketing but has transformed into a much broader organization. Through it, he’s able to explore his interest in a range of media and marketing efforts, including graphic design, video editing, social media management, web design and more.

Among other clients, Mr. McCullum created political marketing for the Mississippi Democratic Party in 2018. He has also assisted local businesses and individuals with marketing efforts, including search engine optimization (SEO) and advertising programs such as Google Ads, AdSense and Facebook Ads. Alongside Overall99 Media’s growth, Mr. McCullum has fostered a social following on platforms including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube. In addition to producing his own shows on YouTube, he regularly works with other creators to manage their social media channels.

Though his career has been filled with many memorable moments, Mr. McCullum is particularly proud of the publication of his second book, Inherited. This historical fiction novel tells the story of a family inheriting a house in Mississippi and learning about its past. Mr. McCullum is currently working on his third book, titled “Vanity,” which he plans to release in 2025. He also hopes to expand into producing movies or TV shows and is in talks with multiple companies about launching a new talk show.

Mr. McCullum’s esteemed professional trajectory was born of his academic journey. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management and business administration from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2013. Recognizing the importance of his education, Mr. McCullum has also taken on the responsibility of teaching others. From 2020 to 2022, he served as a teacher in digital media, videography, marketing, and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) at Tougaloo College.

Outside of his career, Mr. McCullum finds joy in playing sports, exercising and writing. His goals for the future are primarily centered on finishing his third book, followed by expanding into film production. Mr. McCullum looks forward to continued growth with Overall99 Media LLC and is eager to embrace new opportunities for the company. He credits his success to the support of his family, community and church.
