Dean & Associates in California, where she served as the vice president of sales and marketing for nearly 20 years, from 1981 to 2000. Raised in the field through her father’s respected building and development company, she considers learning directly from him a privilege that has shaped her professional ethos. Ms. Hayne’s early responsibilities included overseeing development, sales and marketing efforts, which provided a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
Ms. Hayne also contributed briefly to community health initiatives through fundraising work with the Mills Memorial Hospital Foundation from 1981 to 1984, further demonstrating her commitment to service.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Ms. Hayne earned a Bachelor of Science in 1980. Her education provided a broad foundation that has supported her adaptability and success across various roles within real estate and related fields. Ms. Hayne also holds several professional certifications that underscore her expertise in the real estate sector, including an accredited buyer’s representative, a certified residential specialist, and a senior real estate specialist through the National Association of Realtors, and a certified graduate builder from the National Association of Home Builders. These credentials reflect her commitment to ongoing professional development and specialized client service.
Throughout her career, Ms. Hayne has remained actively involved in several industry organizations as a member of the Institute of Residential Marketing within the National Association of Home Builders, the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing, the National Association of Realtors, the Montana Association of Realtors, and, among others, the Missoula Organization of Realtors.
Ms. Hayne’s civic engagement has been extensive, including serving as a former charter member of the auxiliary of the Bitter Root Humane Association, a former board member of the Providence Montana Health Foundation and a former board member of the St. Patrick’s Hospital Foundation. She was also active in horse-related organizations, serving as a past president of the Montana Hunter Jumper Association and as a former auxiliary president of the Bitterroot Therapeutic Riding Program. Ms. Hayne notably manages a 200-acre ranch.
