Mr. Wiewiorowski has established a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in the oil and gas sector, marked by progressive leadership and a commitment to operational excellence. Since 2025, he has served as the vice president of innovation at Midland Resource Recovery in West Virginia, where he leads improvements and drives technical advancements across the organization. In this capacity, Mr. Wiewiorowski leverages his extensive background in engineering and operations to bridge gaps between teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

Before joining Midland Resource Recovery, Mr. Wiewiorowski was a market manager at Arkema from 2023 to 2025. In this role, he managed a business unit, overseeing strategic initiatives and delivering innovative solutions to clients. Mr. Wiewiorowski’s tenure at Arkema was preceded by his work at ChampionX, where he held several key positions between 2016 and 2023, including district representative, account manager and strategy and innovation personnel.

Mr. Wiewiorowski’s academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Lehigh University in 2010, where he was a Division I athlete and swimmer. Subsequently, he received a Master of Science in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in 2016. Mr. Wiewiorowski’s foundational education began at The Anglo-American School of Moscow, where he graduated in 2006.

While in college, Mr. Wiewiorowski gained valuable experience as a process engineering intern at CH2M HILL (now Jacobs) in 2009 and as a reservoir engineering intern at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (now Occidental Petroleum Corporation) in 2015. He also served as a teaching assistant at Lehigh University in 2010, supporting academic programs and mentoring students.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Wiewiorowski has remained actively involved in industry organizations. He is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, has been the arrangements chair for NAWC Edmonton with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (now AMPP) since 2010, and holds leadership roles with the Society of Petroleum Engineers as a board chair of public relations committees and director of outreach since 2014.

A defining moment in Mr. Wiewiorowski’s early career occurred when he led a digitization initiative within a diverse offshore team. Tasked with unifying reporting and documentation for a group of 15 individuals who spoke different languages and used various tools, he consolidated resources into a single platform. This effort significantly improved communication and efficiency, marking Mr. Wiewiorowski’s first significant contribution to innovation and setting the stage for his ongoing focus on streamlining operations.

The influence of Mr. Wiewiorowski’s family has been instrumental throughout his life, as both parents were chemical engineers. Mentorship has also shaped his development as a leader. He credits several colleagues from ChampionX for their guidance, whose emphasis on active listening proved invaluable.

Looking ahead, Mr. Wiewiorowski envisions Midland Resource Recovery becoming synonymous with technical excellence, safety and support within the gas odorization sector across North America. He is dedicated to expanding the company’s reach while maintaining high service standards, striving to build an organization that inspires pride among employees and stakeholders alike.
