Since 2025, she has served as the chief marketing officer at Syntari International, Inc., a software development company based in Boston, Massachusetts, where she has been instrumental in establishing the organization’s marketing and customer experience department. In this capacity, Ms. Byrne has built the company’s brand voice and identity, developed its go-to-market operating system and digital brand, and leveraged her expertise in MarTech to drive growth across multiple channels. Her responsibilities have also included creating a high-performing team to achieve organizational growth goals, assisting with business development initiatives, attending industry conferences and meetings with prospective clients, and crafting compelling pitch decks.
Before her current role, Ms. Byrne was the head of marketing and customer experience at Octapharma Plasma in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 2023 to 2025. During her tenure, she demonstrated exceptional leadership by maintaining a 98% retention rate with her team in under five years, a professional accomplishment she is particularly proud of. Ms. Byrne previously held the position of director of marketing, brand strategy and customer experience at Octapharma Plasma between 2021 and 2023.
From 2013 to 2021, Ms. Byrne co-founded Bump N Run Apparel LLC, serving as a managing partner and head of marketing and business development. In this entrepreneurial role, she oversaw all aspects of marketing strategy and business growth for the company. Ms. Byrne’s expertise enabled her to scale the company’s revenue from zero to $2M, with 150% growth in the first two years and 95% growth between years two and four.
Ms. Byrne’s earlier experience included serving as a business development executive for marketing and events at DMS Organization in the Cayman Islands from 2007 to 2009, following her role as the company’s marketing, events and promotions manager between 2006 and 2007. Ms. Byrne began her career as a senior account manager at Karlitz & Company, Inc., in New York City from 2004 to 2006.
Ms. Byrne’s academic background has played a pivotal role in shaping her professional journey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in marketing and international management from Northeastern University. Her global perspective was enriched by living in both the Cayman Islands and Barbados for two years while completing her graduate studies and raising her family. Additionally, Ms. Byrne holds an artificial intelligence (AI) and business strategy certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which has enhanced her ability to integrate advanced technologies into strategic business initiatives.
In addition to her formal education, Ms. Byrne’s commitment to professional excellence has been reflected in her active membership with several industry organizations, including The Outlier Project and the CMO Council. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is committed to civic engagement and creative endeavors. Ms. Byrne currently serves as a board member of ArtPop Street Gallery in Charlotte and volunteers with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Inc., Habitat for Humanity International and various homeless shelters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Byrne has developed recognized expertise in AI-led go-to-market strategies, digital transformation, leadership abilities and mentoring emerging leaders.
