Diann Andoh, Retired Senior Operator II at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Professor at New Creation Kingdom Fellowship, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Ms. Andoh has built a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years, most notably at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Company, a major utility that provides electricity and natural gas to millions of customers in Northern California. Her tenure with the organization culminated in her role as a senior operator II, from which she retired in 2018. In this capacity, Ms. Andoh was responsible for a broad range of operational and administrative duties, including managing inner-market street operations, producing and distributing PG&E certificates, printing and mailing certificates, bonds, dividend reinvestment statements and checks. She also facilitated share transfers when shareholders presented their certificates in person, managed the production of business cards, notepads, bulletins and posters, and provided guidance to employees on their benefits. Ms. Andoh’s expertise in human resources and employee benefits was instrumental in ensuring that all employee information was accurately processed before being entered into the system.
Throughout her career at PG&E Company, Ms. Andoh demonstrated a unique ability to master each position she held. She consistently began in entry-level roles within various departments and advanced to leadership positions through dedication and a comprehensive understanding of her responsibilities. This approach allowed her to relocate across five major departments during her career, always starting from the bottom and progressing to the top. Ms. Andoh took pride in training successors to ensure seamless transitions and encouraged young professionals to gain knowledge and experience within the organization. Her commitment to leaving each department stronger than she found it stands as one of her most significant achievements.
Following her retirement from PG&E Company in 2018, Ms. Andoh continued her professional engagement as a professor at New Creation Kingdom Fellowship, where she remains active today. In this role, she imparts theological knowledge and practical wisdom to students, drawing on her extensive academic background and ministerial experience.
Ms. Andoh’s academic credentials are extensive. She studied at Touch of Love Theological Institute, earning a Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in theology. These academic achievements have been foundational to her success as an ordained minister and educator, equipping her with deep theological insight and practical skills for ministry and teaching. Additionally, Ms. Andoh is a certified Christian life coach, which further enhances her ability to mentor others.
Beyond her work-related endeavors, Ms. Andoh is a member of the Smithsonian Institution and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, reflecting her commitment to both cultural enrichment and social advocacy. She also serves as a trustee and board consultant for Trinity M.B. Church, where she provides strategic guidance on organizational matters. Furthermore, Ms. Andoh volunteers with Hawaii Foodbank Inc., supporting efforts to address food insecurities within the community.
Recognition for Ms. Andoh’s contributions includes receiving the Ministerial Staff Award from the Progressive National Baptist Convention, underscoring her impact within ministerial circles. She attributes her professional accomplishments to qualities such as faithfulness, teachability and dedication.
Ms. Andoh’s life reflects a steadfast commitment to service, education and community upliftment, qualities that continue to define her legacy both professionally and personally. Looking ahead, she aims to publish a blog dedicated to encouraging others. She is also considering opening a school or providing educational services or consultations focused on youth empowerment and inspiration.
