Jennifer M. Kielb, senior consultant at Sparq, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Project Management.

Ms. Kielb has established herself as an expert in project management, a field in which she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical acumen throughout her career. In her current role as a senior consultant at Sparq, an artificial intelligence (AI)-native engineering solutions firm, since 2022, she consults for the United Parcel Service, overseeing a team of developers who customize shipping software for United Parcel Service customers. She is also responsible for meeting with clients to provide status updates and ensure that requirements are met efficiently and on schedule. Additionally, Ms. Kielb is actively engaged in a new AI initiative within Sparq, where she evaluates and determines the most effective tools for company-wide implementation.

Before joining Sparq, Ms. Kielb served as a senior technical project and program leader at Apex Systems from 2021 to 2022. In this capacity, she managed complex technical projects, leveraging her project management expertise to deliver successful outcomes for the U.S. Department of Labor. Earlier, Ms. Kielb worked as a digital project leader and consultant, providing strategic guidance on digital transformation initiatives, including site launches, web applications, migrations and more, between 2020 and 2021.

Ms. Kielb’s earlier role as a technical project manager at Managed Business Solutions, a national service provider of high-quality information technology solutions, from 2019 to 2020, also helped hone her skills in overseeing large, multifaceted technology projects. Her responsibilities included coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring the seamless delivery of client solutions.

A significant portion of Ms. Kielb’s career was dedicated to Verizon, where she contributed for over two decades in various capacities. Hired by Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile, now Verizon, in 1995 as a marketing systems analyst in customer service, she held the role for five years. In 2000, she became a system support marketing manager for point-of-sale at Verizon. Continually progressing, Ms. Kielb was named a senior project manager of digital marketing in 2013. Then, from 2016 to 2019, she excelled as a senior project manager, playing a pivotal role in managing large-scale projects and programs from ideation through post-production to support Verizon’s business objectives.

Throughout her time at Verizon, Ms. Kielb was instrumental in the development of verizonwireless.com from its inception. Initially contributing as a subject-matter expert in the credit department, she transitioned into information technology and managed nearly every aspect of the website project, including My Verizon and its various iterations. Ms. Kielb’s leadership during the site’s evolution, from manual processes to full automation, was particularly noteworthy.

Ms. Kielb’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Additionally, she holds several industry-recognized credentials, including Agile certified practitioner and project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), scrum fundamentals and scrum master certification from VMEdu.com, and agile project management certification from Villanova University.

In addition to her education, Ms. Kielb’s commitment to professional development has been reflected in her active membership in PMI. She has also dedicated five years to teaching project management, preparing students for the PMP examination and sharing her expertise with future leaders in the field. Beyond these endeavors, Ms. Kielb is civically engaged as a volunteer with Ciudad Nueva in El Paso, Texas.

Ms. Kielb’s tenure and expertise at Verizon earned her recognition with multiple Circle of Excellence Awards. She attributes her accomplishments to the unwavering support of her family and her dedication to excellence within project management. Looking ahead, Ms. Kielb aims to earn the certified professional in managing AI designation from the PMI and further develop her professional brand. She also remains dedicated to supporting her colleagues at Sparq while contributing to their ongoing development, and is also considering a return to teaching.
