Amanda Herber, Chief Executive Officer at Herber Consulting, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the Consulting Industry.

Ms. Herber is recognized for her distinguished career in leadership as a foremost entrepreneur. Since 2016, she has served as the president of DENPAC in Texas. In this role, she has overseen various aspects of her family-owned oil and gas land in Texas, from production reporting and profit and loss statements to the Railroad Commission of Texas’s drilling requirements.

In 2017, Ms. Herber also became the owner and chief executive officer of Herber Consulting. Through this enterprise, she provides fractional chief operating officer services, executive advisory, and leadership coaching to small and mid-sized businesses. Ms. Herber’s approach centers on aligning strategy, systems, and people to foster organizations that are both operationally robust and culturally healthy.

In addition to her work at Herber Consulting, Ms. Herber became the owner of TAB Colorado Springs with The Alternative Board (Worldwide) in 2025. In this capacity, she facilitates peer advisory boards and delivers leadership development programs designed to help business owners achieve their goals through shared insight and accountability.

Ms. Herber is known for her practical, data-driven methodology and her deep respect for the human side of business, guiding leaders from reactive management toward intentional growth. She is actively involved in client operations and serves as a strategic thought partner to business owners and leadership teams. Ms. Herber has also become known for focusing on building community relationships through networking and referral partnerships.

Leveraging her success in the field, Ms. Herber simultaneously served as the chief information technology officer at Legacy Financial Partners (LFP) from 2021 to 2024. This position came after first working as an operations specialist at the firm between 2019 and 2021. Earlier, Ms. Herber served as a project manager at Eide Bailly LLP, a premier accounting firm, from 2018 to 2019. She also spent over a decade as the director of operations at eFit Financial in Lakewood, Colorado, beginning in 2006. In this capacity, she oversaw daily operations for a growing financial services firm and developed expertise in operational excellence and organizational systems design.

Ms. Herber’s academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career trajectory. She holds a Bachelor of Science in database and web administration from Metropolitan State University of Denver, graduating in 2010. Initially pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, she shifted her focus after discovering a passion for the data behind operations, recognizing its power to tell stories, identify risk and drive better decisions. Adding to her credentials, Ms. Herber later earned a master’s degree in accounting and information systems from the University of Colorado Denver in 2017.

In addition to her formal education, Ms. Herber’s commitment to professional development has been further demonstrated by several certifications. Among them, she received a project management professional designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI), a Lean Six Sigma green belt certification from the Six Sigma Online: Aveta Business Institute, and credentials as a certified HI-MAP facilitator and StratPro facilitator through The Alternative Board (Worldwide).

Ms. Herbert is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the Mile High chapter of the PMI Business Network International – Core Connections and The Alternative Board. She also spent many years demonstrating civic engagement through volunteer roles with companies such as LANFEST Colorado and the Colorado Columbines Running Group.

With two decades of professional experience, Ms. Herber has established herself as an expert in strategic planning, business alignment, leadership development, operational excellence, organizational systems and process design, as well as behavioral assessments and talent insights for small-to mid-sized businesses. During her tenure in the field, she most notably led a comprehensive transformation of the operating model across finance, payroll, invoicing, expense management, compensation reporting and risk controls for a multi-entity organization. By replacing fragmented manual workflows with scalable, auditable systems, Ms. Herber reduced administrative workload by approximately 2,100 to 2,800 hours annually and generated an estimated $90,000 to $120,000 in annual labor savings. This initiative significantly improved accuracy, accountability and compliance while enabling the organization to scale without increasing administrative overhead.

Looking ahead, Ms. Herber plans to expand her impact by supporting more small and mid-sized businesses through fractional executive leadership, behavioral assessments, strategic planning peer advisory groups, thoughtful growth and by cultivating a high-caliber team. Her goal is to build resilient systems, aligned cultures and organizations that operate effectively beyond their founders while maintaining long-term meaningful client relationships.
