Before founding Whispering Script, Ms. Welch was a senior account director at Phase 3 Marketing and Communications from 2007 to 2020. In this capacity, she directed comprehensive marketing initiatives for a diverse client base, demonstrating her ability to deliver results-driven solutions and foster long-term client relationships. Ms. Welch’s tenure at Phase 3 Marketing and Communications was instrumental in honing her skills in campaign strategy and client engagement.
From 2004 to 2007, Ms. Welch worked as a teacher within the Allen Independent School District. She utilized her background in foreign language and commercial design to create engaging curricula that supported student development and academic achievement.
Ms. Welch began her professional journey as a sales representative for the Midwest region at 3M from 2001 to 2004. In this role, she developed foundational skills in sales strategy and customer service that would later inform her entrepreneurial pursuits.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Welch earned a Bachelor of Arts in foreign language and commercial design from Texas State University in San Marcos in 1996. This multidisciplinary education provided her with a unique perspective that has been integral to her creative approach in both marketing and business development. Ms. Welch further enhanced her qualifications by obtaining the Google Ads Search certification from Google Digital Academy between 2022 and 2023, underscoring her commitment to staying current with industry advancements. Additionally, she has held a Texas teacher bilingual certification for kindergarten through eighth grade from Dallas College Mountain View Campus since 1993.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Welch is civically engaged with the First Assembly of God. She has also served as the president of the booster club at her children’s school and held the roles of vice president and treasurer for the school’s athletic booster club, reflecting her commitment to supporting youth development and community initiatives.

With her husband already an entrepreneur, she found the shift both natural and timely.
Looking ahead, Ms. Welch is preparing to launch Cannabella, a children’s brand featuring books and short stories that has been in development for 15 years. With plans for Cannabella to serve as her primary company upon its official launch, she aims to grow it into a global brand focused on books, short stories and activity books. Ultimately, Ms. Welch hopes to be remembered for having a good vision for what comes next, a quality reflected throughout her dynamic career and ongoing projects.
