Currently serving as the vice president of marketing at ShiftUp since 2025, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand and product offerings from inception. Since joining the Phoenix, Arizona-based proactive intelligence platform, Ms. Woods’ efforts have led to securing significant deals and advancing the company toward its funding goals.
In addition to her contributions to ShiftUp, Ms. Woods has served as a marketing and board adviser for Sales Caddy AI in Boise, Idaho, since 2024, where she continues to lend her expertise in strategic marketing initiatives. Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sales Caddy serves as a personalized sales coaching service that specializes in tailored coaching programs and a 24/7 generative AI-driven knowledge base to allow clients to boost their sales performance.
Before her current roles, Ms. Woods was the global director of product marketing at WorkJam in 2024, following a similar position with an added focus on demand generation from 2023 to 2024. Her tenure as the global senior director of product marketing at YOOBIC from 2022 to 2023 also helped solidify her reputation as a leader in the field. Additionally, Ms. Woods excelled as a fractional vice president of marketing on a freelance basis between 2020 and 2022, while simultaneously leading marketing efforts at Wisetail, an Intertek Company.
Ms. Woods’ journey into marketing began after a successful career as a professional dancer with Celebrity Cruises from 1998 to 2004 and then Princess Cruises until 2010. Her transition into marketing was facilitated by her role as a crew club president at Princess Cruises, where she honed her skills in event organization and cultural coordination. This experience laid the foundation for Ms. Woods’ successive roles at Scale Computing and Cradlepoint, where she achieved remarkable success in public sector marketing as a content marketing manager, senior corporate marketing manager and corporate marketing director, and ultimately as the director of public sector and public safety marketing between 2014 and 2020.
Ms. Woods’ academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in history, theatre arts and journalism from the University of Southern Indiana in 1997 and a master’s level coursework in marketing strategy from Cornell University in 2018. She also holds a certification in business administration and management from Harvard Business School, obtained in 2021.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Woods is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Product Marketing Alliance. She is also deeply committed to civic engagement as a volunteer for breast cancer awareness initiatives, a cause close to her heart as a breast cancer survivor herself.
Ms. Woods’ contributions to the field have been recognized with several accolades, including being named a Top 100 Product Marketing Influencer by the Product Marketing Alliance in 2025. Eager for future success, she aspires to ascend to the role of chief marketing officer and eventually chief executive officer, driven by her determination and guided by the wisdom imparted by her mother, to embrace challenges even when they seem daunting.
