Christopher DiSanto, Assistant Director of Strength Training for Football at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Director of Team Sales at The Super Patch Co., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in Sports, Sales and Nutrition.
Throughout a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Mr. DiSanto has demonstrated expertise in sports, strength conditioning and sales, areas where he continues to excel. In 2025, he joined The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the assistant director of strength and conditioning for football, leveraging his previous success in similar roles. Additionally, in 2026, Mr. DiSanto began working for The Super Patch Co. Leading the company as the director of team sales, he supports the sales of its Super Patches, small, drug- and chemical-free wearables designed to enhance mind-body communication.
Mr. DiSanto’s journey began with a pivotal moment as a college junior in 1999 when he resolved to pursue a career in strength coaching despite skepticism from academic advisers. That year, while attending West Chester University in Pennsylvania, he applied for a football internship at Arizona State University. Selected as one of four candidates from a pool of 30 applicants, Mr. DiSanto completed the internship during his junior year after successfully petitioning his department. This experience solidified his passion for strength and conditioning and marked the start of enduring professional relationships.
Mr. DiSanto’s most notable achievement came during his tenure as an Arena 2 football player from 2003 to 2006. Despite ending his playing career due to a knee injury in 2006, he helped lead his team to an ArenaCup championship victory that same year. As team captain, Mr. DiSanto contributed to the franchise becoming only the second expansion team in league history to secure a championship in its inaugural season. This accomplishment stands as a testament to his perseverance and commitment.
Following his playing career, Mr. DiSanto transitioned into coaching and sales roles across the sports and nutrition industries. From 2002 to 2003, he worked as a health and physical education teacher at Presbyterian Children’s Village in Radnor, Pennsylvania. From there, Mr. DiSanto joined various Arena 2 football teams as a player until 2006. Between 2007 and 2008, he excelled as a strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota Vikings in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Mr. DiSanto’s expertise led him to become an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Oakland Raiders in Oakland, California, from 2008 to 2012. He continued this trajectory as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for football at the University of California, Berkeley, between 2012 and 2013 before joining the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland, Ohio, as an assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2013 to 2014.
Mr. DiSanto’s career continued to flourish after his time in the National Football League. Between 2015 and 2018, he expanded into the business side of athletics as an account executive for athletics and education at Iron Grip Barbell Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial dumbbell and other weight-related products, in Dallas, Texas. Mr. DiSanto’s leadership skills were further recognized when he became the director of team sales, then vice president of sales at Momentous, a nutritional and dietary supplement company, in Frisco, Texas, from 2019 to 2023. During this period, Mr. DiSanto developed a reputation for building strong professional networks.
Remaining in the health and wellness sector, Mr. DiSanto joined EyePromise, a Pennsylvania-based eye health company, in Dallas in 2023 as a sales consultant before advancing to director of pro and collegiate sports in 2024. He then served as sales director at OIAM, specializing in peak performance, recovery and availability, until 2025.
Educated in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Mr. DiSanto’s academic foundation included earning a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from West Chester University in 2000, where athletic prowess included being named First Team All-Conference Defensive Lineman. Mr. DiSanto’s education provided the scientific grounding necessary for both coaching athletes and excelling in sports-related business roles.
Throughout his career, Mr. DiSanto has attributed his success to commitment, consistency and perseverance, qualities that have enabled him to overcome setbacks, including career-ending injuries and professional transitions. Looking ahead, he aims to realize his full potential by continuing to explore new opportunities within sports performance and sales leadership. Mr. DiSanto values the exposure gained through entering the sales field, an area where building relationships with athletic trainers and dietitians presented unique challenges due to limited initial contacts, and remains eager to see how far his drive will take him.
