Alongside this endeavor, Ms. Edwards has served as president of Ninth Street Development, Inc., and works in legal management with EWC Franchise LLC since 2019. The holder of a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification, she draws upon a Bachelor of Science in news and public affairs from Oklahoma State University, which she obtained in 1982.
Prior to her current roles, Ms. Edwards was a senior franchise registration administrator for Haynes & Boone/Jenkens & Gilchrist from 2001 to 2004 and worked in increasingly-responsible executive positions for WingStop Restaurants Inc., Mullin House P.C., ClubCorp Inc., CEC Entertainment Inc., and Pei Wei Asian Diner LLC. Leveraging her previously-earned skills in journalism, she also notably flourished as a managing editor for The Garland News between 2005 and 2009.
As a testament to her success, Ms. Edwards and PermitPros were named one of the Top Ten LMS Agencies by CIO Applications in 2019. In addition, she has maintained membership with the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals and also sits on several committees regarding diversity, retail food ingredients, and social media. When asked about her success, she notes that her professional achievements can be attributed to her integrity in the workforce and ability to meet and exceed challenges.
Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Edwards is especially proud of her contributions to licensing management systems, emphasizing that her dedication and tenacity to the profession allows PermitPros to always be one step ahead of their competitors.
