With over five decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Kedney has excelled in the fields of sales and business management and marketing. Since 2007, he has served as the president of Kedney Marketing Services, where he provides marketing consultations for the senior living industry. Furthermore, he specializes in marketing and selling retirement, life care and continuing care services. The company offers their services throughout the United States and Australia, and Mr. Kedney is largely responsible for receiving and managing reports and resolving issues from his clients and colleagues.
Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Kedney operated as a partner at Retirement Living Services from 1994 to 2002, and he was the vice president of Life Care Services from 1976 to 1982. Mr. Kedney began his career in 1969, working with Southern Bell Telephone Company from 1969 to 1972. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Kedney pursued a formal education. Having studied at the Warrington College of Business of the University of Florida, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1969.
As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Kedney is a former member of LeadingAge and the American Association of Retirement Communities. Adjacent to his professional responsibilities, he also serves as a civic-minded citizen in his community, participating as a crossing guard at Neptune Beach Elementary School since 2019. Known for his scholarly output as well, he has spoken as various conferences and authored several works on marketing. Furthermore, Mr. Kedney honorably served with the United States Marines as a reservist on Parris Island in 1971.
In light of his accomplished career, Mr. Kedney attributes much of his success to his dedicated work ethic and commitment to excellence.
