With nearly 30 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Peterson has excelled as a realtor at RE/MAX, LLC since 2000. Previously, she served as an assistant manager at Walmart from 1997 to 2000. Before embarking on her professional path, she initially completed an associate’s degree in business administration at Western Wyoming Community College in 1995. She continued her academic efforts at the College of Business at the University of Wyoming, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1997. She is a certified residential specialist and a licensed realtor through the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Peterson remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She maintained involvement as a member of the National Board of Realtors, a board member of the First Interstate Bank, and multiple committees and board positions at the Northeast Wyoming Alliance MLS over a span of eight years. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with the Realtor of the Year Award by the Northwest Wyoming Alliance in 2015 and received several honors from RE/MAX including the Platinum Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and induction in the 100% Club.
Ms. Peterson began her education with the intention of becoming a teacher before shifting her attention to business and completing a course in business management. After concluding her academic pursuits, she worked for two years as a business manager at Walmart before learning more about the real estate industry, at which point she decided to acquire a license as a real estate agent.
Ms. Peterson attributes her success to her perseverance and determination. She strongly believes that not fearing rejection empowers her to succeed. Moreover, she attributes her success to the time she invested in a coach and learning how to improve herself as an agent. Not only is she a transactional agent, but she is a relational agent. Her greatest contribution has been building relationships, friendships and lifelong connections through her career.
In the immediate future, Ms. Peterson hopes to set aside more personal time for herself. She intends to continue getting referrals but wants to start setting boundaries between her career and her life goals. Likewise, she intends to partially retire while still operating and expanding upon her own company.
