Bryan Tolesfero Scott, vice president of safety and quality at HAECO Americas, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in aviation and aerospace.

With three decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Scott has established a successful career in aviation and aerospace. He currently excels as the vice president of safety and quality at HAECO Americas, a position he has held since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for organizational design, process improvement, contract management, operational leadership, program management, strategic leadership, quality assurance, sustainability strategy, client relationship management, and community volunteering. His experience also includes serving as vice president of government services at Cerner Corporation from 2021 to 2022, and various roles at Boeing, including vice president of enterprise environment health and safety from 2019 to 2021, vice president of integrated quality from 2016 to 2019, general manager from 2014 to 2016, director from 2009 to 2014, program manager from 2005 to 2009, supply chain management from 2003 to 2005, flight operations specialist from 1995 to 2003, and quality assurance inspector from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, he served as crew chief and aircraft maintenance specialist in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1988.

Mr. Scott has also held memberships with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and served on various boards, including the Board of Advisors for the YMCA of Greater Seattle, the Advisory Board for the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, and the Board of Advisors for the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Inc., and has been an executive focal for Tuskegee University. In recognition of his impressive achievements, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Career Achievement in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math by Career Communications Group in 2021, named Distinguished Engineer of the Year by the National Society for Black Engineers in 2016, and received the Meritorious Achievement Medal from the U.S. Air Force. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in aviation management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2002, a Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University in 2004, and holds Federal Aviation Administration certifications.

Mr. Scott attributes his success to his relentless pursuit of excellence, always striving to outperform his peers regardless of the metric or goal. He also acknowledges the support and guidance from colleagues who took an interest in his career, provided opportunities and assisted in his development. In the coming years, he is focused on enhancing his work to ensure the safety of the flying public. Additionally, he envisions contributing his expertise by serving on various boards and giving back to the community, similar to his involvement with the Greater Seattle YMCA.
