Mr. Iyer has established a distinguished career spanning more than three decades. Since 2024, he has served as a senior project manager at Perficient Inc., a global AI and technology consulting firm headquartered in Missouri. Working from his Lincoln, Nebraska, office, he leads complex enterprise-level technology initiatives for clients across diverse industries. His responsibilities include directing major Oracle e-business suite upgrades, managing blended onshore and offshore teams, and overseeing both functional and technical remediation to ensure seamless transitions. Mr. Iyer is recognized for delivering modernized enterprise performance management systems that enhance financial reporting accuracy, transparency and automation. He also implements Oracle Cloud supply chain management and financials to integrate international acquisitions and centralize global operations, with a focus on strategic delivery, process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
First acquired by Perficient Inc. in late 2024, Mr. Iyer was a senior solution architect, involved in designing and implementing InEight software solutions for clients. Before being acquired by Perficient Inc., he excelled as a senior project manager at Conduent Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, from 2022 to 2024. The company specializes in delivering digital business solutions and services to its clients.
From 2016 to 2022, Mr. Iyer worked as a program manager and platform and application programming interface product owner at InEight Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska. He also worked for Harbinger Partners-Bass between 2015 and 2016, working with the Nebraska Department of Education in Omaha and Lincoln. During this period, Mr. Iyer also served as the director of federal business development and as the principal of strategic consulting at Capstone Consulting Inc., collaborating with the Nebraska Office of Probation Administration.
Among other opportunities, Mr. Iyer held roles with the Nebraska Book Company and Cabela’s LLC in Lincoln, as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture, WellPoint and the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care in Des Moines, Iowa. Earlier, he worked for the Department of Administrative Services for the State of Iowa as a senior project manager from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Iyer began his U.S.-based professional journey as an information technology project manager at WellPoint Computer Enterprises Inc. in Los Angeles, California, in 2005 after building a foundation of experience with state governments, telecommunications firms and insurance companies, dating back to the early 1990s.
In addition to his corporate career, Mr. Iyer has been the owner of Driven Academy and Driven Power since 2015, an entrepreneurial venture that stands among his proudest achievements. Recognizing a gap in access to quality athletic training for youth in his community, he invested personal retirement funds alongside his wife to establish a facility dedicated to tailored strength and conditioning programs for baseball, softball and athletic fitness. Over more than a decade, Driven Academy has supported multiple generations of young athletes through school into adulthood by equipping them with the skills necessary for success both on and off the field.
Mr. Iyer’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in mathematics in 1989 and a Master of Science in mathematics in 1991 from the University of Bombay (now University of Mumbai). In 1993, he received a master’s diploma in software engineering from Pace University in New York. Mr. Iyer also holds a federal acquisition credential for project/program managers, a project management professional certification, and a scrum product owner certification.
Civically engaged throughout his life, Mr. Iyer has volunteered with College View Church/Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lincoln for over 15 years, preparing meals for senior citizens, hospitals and soup kitchens, while also supporting underserved families during the holidays through gift-giving initiatives associated with Union College. He generously donates monthly to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Mr. Iyer also founded a grief counseling trust fund serving families in Lincoln and Omaha who require support after losing loved ones, ensuring access to therapy regardless of financial means. He has also served as an executive coach with Focal Point since 2018 and has been the founder of Kerry’s Heart Foundation and Trust since 2026. Additionally, Mr. Iyer has been a member of Toastmasters International since 2009.
As a testament to Mr. Iyer’s hard work at the Driven Academy, his organization received the Most Community-Centric Business Award from the Lincoln Business Group in 2021. He attributes his accomplishments to an open-minded approach rooted in optimism, trust, earnestness, honesty and a collaborative spirit that rallies teams around shared goals.
Looking ahead, Mr. Iyer intends to continue making a difference professionally by driving transformation for clients. His goal over the next five to seven years is to become more proficient and scale his capabilities so he can continue making an impact in his field and within his organization.
