Mr. Arrendell commenced his educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1988. Expanding his expertise, he obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 1991. His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through certifications as a certified quality engineer from the American Society for Quality and a Design Development International leadership development trainer, underscoring his dedication to elevating quality standards and developing leadership capability.

Mr. Arrendell began his career with the U.S. Department of Energy as part of its leadership development program, where he gained early exposure to large-scale engineering and project management. He then transitioned into the design and manufacturing of automated assembly systems for the semiconductor industry, followed by several years in the automotive sector, where he expanded his expertise in design, manufacturing, and quality operations. Building on this diverse technical foundation, Mr. Arrendell’s professional path advanced through a series of leadership roles focused on global quality excellence. He served as site manufacturing quality manager at Abbott Diagnostics before joining Wright Medical Technology as vice president of global quality from 2004 to 2009. His tenure at KCI Medical marked significant progress, where he held leadership positions as vice president of global quality from 2009 to 2014 and vice president of global quality and regulatory affairs from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, he contributed as worldwide vice president of quality management at Becton Dickinson from 2017 to 2019, consolidating his expertise and leadership in enterprise-wide quality and regulatory strategies.

Currently, Mr. Arrendell holds a key leadership role at Jabil, serving as the company’s chief quality officer, where he drives quality management, regulatory excellence, and operational performance across a broad range of industries. He began his tenure in 2019 as chief quality officer overseeing quality and regulatory management for Jabil Regulated Industries. In 2025, he assumed the role of enterprise chief quality officer, supporting Jabil’s three business sectors along with the company’s global support functions and centers of excellence. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight of global initiatives encompassing product design assurance, supplier quality management, operations quality, and continuous improvement systems. Through these roles, Mr. Arrendell has strengthened enterprise-wide quality and regulatory strategies that integrate engineering, operational, and regulatory disciplines—reinforcing Jabil’s reputation for reliability, compliance, and innovation across diverse global markets.

Beyond his career, Mr. Arrendell actively engages in civic duties and professional organizations. Over the years, he participated in leading and singing in music groups and he serves on the board of advisors for the Dean of the College of Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. His contributions were acknowledged when asked to give the commencement address at the UTA College of Engineering Commencement in May 2022.

Recognized among the top 25 healthcare leaders of San Antonio by the Health Technology Report in 2022, and honored in 2025 by the International Association of Top Professionals as top chief quality officer of the year, Mr. Arrendell continues to demonstrate leadership across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality. He holds active membership in professional associations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society for Quality, reflecting his ongoing commitment to building systems of excellence in complex, global enterprises. Looking ahead, Mr. Arrendell envisions further engagement in corporate and advisory board roles, sharing insights from a career that began as an engineer and expanded through manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and enterprise quality leadership.
