Christopher J. Chung, Chief Operating Officer at Coding Dojo, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in coding.

Since his formative years, Mr. Chung’s passions have consisted of car, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship from the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2014, he predicted he would commence working for a marketing agency, however, he was introduced to the coding industry. Since 2019, Mr. Chung has served as chief operating officer of Coding Dojo, a coding boot camp company, in which he manages the operations of the company nationwide, monitors revenue and the cash flow management and analyzes strategy for future growth. In 2018, he graduated from the course with a Triple Black Belt for the top two percent of his class in computer software engineering. Earlier, Mr. Chung served the company as director of community outreach from 2014 to 2018, as a marketing strategist from 2014 to 2019 and as director of new campus development from 2018 to 2019. Notably, in his first year with Coding Dojo, he helped grow company revenue from $1.5 million to $6 million. In his second year, they found 40 percent growth to $10 million.

In addition to his role with Coding Dojo, since 2014, Mr. Chung has also served as the managing partner of Twin Vision Activewear where he leads advertising and optimization strategy, among other responsibilities. Specializing in business strategy and business planning, he also serves as a marketing and business strategy consultant to various companies. Prior to commencing his career in the coding industry, Mr. Chung was a sales and marketing manager for Auto News from 2013 to 2017, also serving in an editorial role since 2020. From 2006 to 2014, he was a financial analyst intern for Pegasus Financial and was the chief of sales for Sleeve Up! in 2013. Additionally, Mr. Chung had served Ross Stores from 2009 to 2013 as a sales associate, operations manager intern, and associate.

Finding great success in his career trajectory, Mr. Chung was honorably named to 425 Business Magazine’s 30 Under 30 in 2019. To add to his coding industry accolades, Coding Dojo named him Best Sales Person in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Mr. Chung had also received recognition from Twin Vision Activewear in 2015 and 2016 as Top Nationwide Sales Person. A former member of Phi Kappa Psi, he holds membership with the COO Alliance, is vice president of the Code for Change Foundation, and is a food bank volunteer with Good Shepard Church. Looking ahead, Mr. Chung envisions himself still having a desire for entrepreneurship and hopes to own his own company in the tech and consulting space. Specifically, he hopes to grow his consulting company and become a distinguished service in the marketing and development shop so that he can help small business owners develop their businesses. In his free time, Mr. Chung enjoys spending time with friends and family, car drifting, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and camping.
