Ms. Bucad has established herself in the culinary industry, marked by her expertise in creativity, leadership skills and culinary management. Her current role as the executive chef at Stanton Italian (formerly Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace) in Las Vegas, Nevada, began in 2026. In this leading role, she leverages more than 15 years of experience in her field to ensure success. In addition to many responsibilities in the kitchen, including inventory and deliveries, and monitoring ticket timings to adjust kitchen pacing, Ms. Bucad handles staffing schedules, attends partner meetings and operational calls, and meets with sous chefs. She also conducts tastings for all sauces and other food items to ensure quality before making necessary adjustments, reviews reservations for allergies and special requests, conducts line checks before service, leads menu refinement, and engages with guests.

First hired by Stanton Social Prime in 2022, Ms. Bucad was a chef de cuisine, where she contributed to the launch and operational success of the venue. In 2023, she became the executive chef. Under her leadership, the restaurant was awarded Eater’s Best New Restaurant within its first year of operation. Ms. Bucad played a pivotal role in shaping the restaurant’s culinary direction and establishing its reputation for excellence.

Ms. Bucad’s tenure as the executive chef at Old Homestead Steakhouse with Caesars Entertainment Inc. from 2021 to 2022 was also instrumental in her ability to lead high-profile kitchens. Earlier in 2021, she was involved in reopening Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Entertainment during the COVID-19 pandemic as the chef de cuisine. Ms. Bucad’s leadership ensured a smooth transition back to service while maintaining rigorous health standards.

Earlier, Ms. Bucad excelled as a chef de cuisine at Pronto by Giada with Caesars Entertainment Inc. from 2019 to 2020. This role came after initially serving as the executive chef at Mandalay Bay Beach Bar & Grille at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in early 2019. Ms. Bucad had formerly spent two years gaining experience as an assistant pastry chef for conventions and banquets at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino between 2017 and 2019, following her titles of assistant chef for conventions and banquets from 2015 to 2017 and assistant chef for CAP between 2014 and 2015 at the same property.

Ms. Bucad’s foundational years included roles as a line cook and a pastry cook at the Bellagio’s Sensi from 2010 to 2014. She also had the opportunity to work as a personal chef for Marjorie Poore Productions between 2010 and 2011, as a cook at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino from 2009 to 2011, and as a pastry cook at Fleur De Lys at Mandalay Bay between 2008 and 2009.

Ms. Bucad’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila in 2005, followed by an associate degree in culinary arts from The Art Institute of Las Vegas in 2009. She has maintained membership with the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers since 2000, reflecting her commitment to professional development within her field.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Bucad is dedicated to community service through various civic organizations. She volunteers with the food and beverage team for the VFW Foundation, donates to Three Square Food Banks, and offers her time to Ronald McDonald House Charities as well as Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. These efforts underscore Ms. Bucad’s commitment to giving back and supporting those in need within her community.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bucad has been recognized for her achievements with several prestigious honors. In 2018, she was named a champion of the Doughnut Dash episode on Season 38 of “Chopped” on Food Network. In 2024, she earned Leader of the Month recognition from Caesars Entertainment in 2024. Ms. Bucad was also named a 2025 Influential Woman and, in 2026, became recognized by the Inner Circle as a Pinnacle Professional Member.

Born in the Philippines, Ms. Bucad is fluent in both English and Tagalog. Looking ahead, she envisions continuing her journey within the culinary field while exploring new opportunities, such as opening another restaurant or authoring a cookbook that would allow her expertise to reach a broader audience.
